Nice to Meet You!

Hi! My name is Lucy and I’m a very happy mini schnauzer. I love everyone, especially children and I really want to see them do well and have a good life. I founded this local charity in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic with my owner. Lucy’s Charity Plant Sale is based in Vienna, Virginia. It all started when our garden had a surplus of plants to work with. I decided with my owner that we should sell the plants for charity. With help from the Vienna Optimists and the community we made that happen. We are located at the Vienna Farmers Market, held every Saturday in the parking lot of the Vienna Community Center. All proceeds are distributed equally to benefit children attending The Culmore Center of Second Story, and World Central Kitchen’s efforts to feed children in Ukraine. Here at Lucy's Charity Plant Sale, we are here to help everyone in the community, and we want to make sure that we can do anything to help. If you are interested in supporting us, you may do so on our social media platforms and just by stopping by at the local farmer's market to buy a plant. If you ever have any questions about your plant or feel indecisive for those new plant parents, we are more than welcome to help you out. Please feel free to contact us below at any time if you have a question, are interested in donating materials (e.g., soil, extra plants, containers, or compost).
